LÂM ĐỒNG — The Lâm Đồng Province People’s Committee and property company Novaland Group on Friday began a programme to grow 50 million trees in the Central Highlands province in 2021-25.
The programme, for which the company has donated VNĐ11 billion (over US$470,000), is in response to the call given by the Prime Minister earlier this month to plant one billion trees.
It is also part of Novaland’s ‘Green Up Việt Nam – Millions trees for a bright life’ programme, implemented by the company and its partners, customers and staff.
The company has donated billions of đồng to support healthcare, education and community development programmes.
It said it would continue with the tree-planting programme in other provinces like Bình Thuận and Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu.
Novaland is a giant developer with many housing projects in HCM City and hospitality projects in tourist destinations like Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu and Bình Thuận. — VNS
